Who's Dina Nazario?
I am a Special Education teacher during the day but my passion is designing and creating handcrafted beaded jewelry.

Tell us about your jewelry collection?
My collection ranges from casual to elegant. I have pieces perfect for bridal parties and red carpet events. I love working with Swarovski Crystals.

Where does your inspiration comes from?
I am inspired from everyday life. Sometimes I see an outfit and design for it. Other times I just buy beads I like and arrange them to create unique pieces.

Can you give us some tips on how to design jewelry?
Be open and have fun. Some of my best designs have come from just "playing around" and not having an idea before I create.

What are good sources for design?
Everywhere. I am constantly looking online, in fashion magazines and just being observant to what people are wearing and what looks good on them.

Do you have any advices to other jewelry designers?
Network and share ideas. The beauty with custom jewelry is that every designer has a different style. You can learn from other designers.

Are coming out with a children's jewelry line?
I currently do custom work for children's jewelry.

What is next for your collection?
I would love to take it to the "next level". My goal is to get my pieces on as many people as possible. I am also looking to build a team of professionals to work with on a regular basis.

Is there anything else you would like to share?
I am always looking to network with other designers, models, photographers and others in the fashion industry.
